Occasions by John and Troy started out doing flowers and events from our home. We supported Gateway Domestic Violence Center’s fundraising events each year it was held at the Civic Center. We also have done many private parties, wedding receptions, and we were honored to do the flowers for Sissy and Bobby Lawson‘s party at the Quinlan.

Troy brought to this his exceptional baking abilities. So we then added cakes, cupcakes and other wonderful desserts to what we offered.

We have decorated the Chattahoochee Country Club for Christmas for the past 4 years. We also had Peggy and Jim Walters and Joe and Susan Biddy as our first clients to decorate their homes for Christmas, along with Kelly Robinson’s home.

We decided to open a store, so on october 1 2008 we opened at “109 Bradford Street”, besides our flowers, parties and decorating, we added a line of “smoker grills” to our store. We loved our location, but it soon became evident that we needed more space. We were lucky enough to get our current location at “100 Washington Street” on the Downtown Square starting October 1 2009. The new location has proved to be a great move. Our exposure on the corner has increased our business, and people now see us on a daily basis.

Please stop by and visit our store, we would be honored to share our talents with you.
